Institucional In January 1998 the dream came true: the first live recording happened, and the name Before the Throne was given to this CD as well to the local gospel music group. 7.000 people came to participate of two hours of celebration, intimacy and fellowship with God. A new Brazilian gospel music concept was born that night, which would change all nation's history. The first CD repercussion and the conviction that it was just the beginning encouraged the group to record the second album: Exalted, in 1999. Just as the first one, Exalted was recorded at the church’s temple. But, in 2000 God gave a very special strategy to Before the Throne. The group should start to record outside church. After that new vision received from God, all Brazil started to see the biggest movement of praise and worship of its history. Purifying Waters was the third album, recorded at an Exhibition Park, with 70.000 people. Next, came I Need You, in 2001, recorded at a soccer stadium with 200.000 people. This was the last event held in Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais state. In 2001 God confirmed to Ana Paula’s heart the direction to start recording the albums at public places, as stadiums, squares and streets. As prophetic acts to rescue Brazil to Jesus Christ, the live recording should happen yearly in a different Brazilian state. In December 2001, at the most famous Brazilian soccer stadium, Maracanã, in Rio de Janeiro, the CD Brazil Before the Throne was recorded with 180.000 people. In 2002, the Brazil’s capital, Brasília, held the event In the father’s arms. 1, 2 million people from all country went to the recording. In 2003 was the time to São Paulo, the biggest city of Brazil, to hold the biggest event the country had ever seen. The recording of I want to fall in love, with 2 million people, impacted the city. In 2004 the northeast, known through the popular parties, received a great party to celebrate the King of the kings. The CD Hope was recorded in Salvador, with 1, 2 million people; which meant 50% of the local population. In 2005 the south of the country held the eighth Before the Throne recording: Still there is a cross. In that event 300.000 people went to Porto Alegre to sing that still there’s a price do pay until we be able to see all God’s plan come true. To conclude the vision to record CDs in all regions, Belém, at state of Pará was chosen. The last event of the campaign Brazil Before the Throne happened at north, when the people sang For your love, Brazil. Currently Before the Throne Worship Ministry is recognized as one of the most important ministry in Brazil. The events which received crowds of people marked the nation with the promotion of the body of Christ’s unity, understanding praise and worship as the redemptions gifts of Brazil. Besides the group, which travel around Brazil and to others countries, there is a children’s project called Children Before the Throne. Five CDs and DVDs already were recorded, and the first of them was translated to Albanian and Polish. The objective of this project is to reach kids with the singing gospel. With the vision to fulfill the mission for what Before the Throne was called: influencing the news generation of worshippers as well as the society, in 2004 was created the Ministring Learning Center Before The Throne (Centro de Treinamento Ministerial Diante do Trono), a school that prepares youths to develop their calls to mission, praise and worship. Faithful to this original calling, Before the Throne Worship Ministry is financially and spiritually responsible today for supporting the missionaries of Lagoinha’s Baptist Church acting in different places on the Earth. And the project Ashastan – India Before the Throne, a vision which was born with Before the Throne Worship Ministry continues growing and rescuing precious lives, introducing them to the only God: Jesus Christ. And this is just the beginning!
