Who is Ana Paula?

Before the Throne’s history begins at 80’s, with Ana Paula Valadão. During her childhood, in Lagoinha’s Baptist Church, Ana Paula started to sing at the children’s choir. The potential of her voice was noticed at that time, and her father the senior pastor of the church, Márcio Valadão, stimulated her to develop that gift. Developing her abilities to sing and ministry, maybe someday she could become a leader of the worship ministry at the church.

Her melodic voice was getting stronger as the ability to write lyrics. But, soon I realized that He really would like that I raise my voice, but in a different way”, she tells.

One year after that she went to United States to study at Christ for the Nations, a seminary. After two years studying there and living away, lot things changed. She gave up of Law and the promise that Ana Paula’s life would impact her generation became real. Her songs started to flow in a natural way, as she describes. From the return to Brazil to the first live recording passed only few months. “My dream was to bring everything I had experimented during those years to my country”, she remembers.
